Investigation Guides Hub

Rehaunted is Cauchemar Studio’s first-person psychological detective horror game. You play Connor Raines on a case that looks simple: a young woman found dead in her home. The house is a crime scene first and a haunting second. Blood traces, fingerprints, hidden recordings, and personal belongings refuse to agree, and the game is designed so you build a conclusion instead of unlocking one official answer.

This hub is the map of every guide on the wiki. Use it when you need a first-hour checklist, a room-by-room investigation method, survival under chase pressure, a playtime and refund read, the public achievement titles, or an honest take on launch reviews and bugs. Pages below assume the Steam PC release of 14 September 2026: single-player, Windows 11, about two to three hours, full controller support.

Start here

If you have not entered the house yet, open Getting Started. It covers the introductory price window, the forensic kit, and a first-session checklist so you do not treat Rehaunted like a combat horror. Specs and binds live on the Tools Hub.

When you are inside and the rooms start looping in your head, switch to the investigation walkthrough. That page is a method, not a puzzle dump: entry, a methodical sweep, UV and magnifier passes, then evidence-board synthesis. It will not invent room names or lock solutions that public materials do not support.

Investigation path

Rehaunted is won or lost on looking twice. How to investigate breaks down the UV flashlight, camera, magnifier, walkie-talkie, and evidence board. Paranormal traces and some clues are often visible only through the magnifier. Radio dialogue with your partner detective is part of the case, not optional flavor.

When you are ready to talk about how the story closes, read endings explained. We will not invent an official ending count. Cauchemar’s own pitch is that the game never directly tells you the answers. Conclusions are player-constructed from contradictory evidence, radio choices, and what you pin on the board.

Survival and polish

A tall supernatural woman hunts you through the house. The building feels abandoned and never empty. How to survive is about chase pressure, sound, and why a locked door is not a sanctuary — especially at launch, when the entity can spawn in locked rooms.

Launch Steam reviews sit at Mixed (about 40% positive from a small sample of roughly 15). Players have reported a radio timer with missing options and a radial menu that can stick. Tips and known bugs lists workarounds and the habit of checking Steam discussions as patches land. Patch notes belong on the updates hub, including Update 01 for entity photo-blind collision (photograph, then run through) and enclosed-room spawn changes.

Playtime, refunds, and extra goals

If you are budgeting an evening, how long to beat covers the two-to-three-hour store estimate, Steam’s two-hour refund window, investigation density, and how Update 01 changes a short run. The GameTrailers announcement trailer lives on that page as pacing context, not as a length study.

Collectors should open Steam achievements for the 17 public titles this wiki can verify out of 22. Unlock conditions stay spoiler-light — explore to unlock. We will not invent a 22-row solution table or map toasts onto a fake ending chart.

Case, characters, and whether to buy

Connor Raines and the partner on the radio are the human spine of the case. Use the players hub when you want the cast framing without a full walkthrough. If you are still on the store page, the launch review puts price (about $7.99, introductory −10% to about $7.19 until 28 September 2026), length, Mixed reception, and platform limits in one argument: PC Steam only at launch, consoles later if they come.

How this wiki treats spoilers

We describe publicly stated premise, tools, and launch conditions. We do not fabricate a canon solution, a numbered ending list, or room-by-room puzzle answers we cannot verify. If a later patch changes a bug or a radio prompt, prefer updates and Steam discussions over an old screenshot of this hub.

Work through the guides in the order that matches your problem: start, investigate, survive, then interpret. Rehaunted is short. Looking carefully is the whole game.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where should a new player start in Rehaunted?

Read Getting Started for specs, tools, and a first-session checklist, then use the investigation walkthrough once you are in the house.

Does this wiki list every ending?

No. Rehaunted is built so you construct a conclusion from contradictory clues. See endings explained for what that means — we do not invent an official ending count.

The entity or the radio is breaking my run. What now?

Open how to survive for chase pressure and locked-room risk, then tips and known bugs for launch workarounds. Check the updates hub after you play.

Is Rehaunted worth buying at launch?

It depends on your tolerance for Mixed polish on a 2–3 hour detective horror. The launch review covers price, bugs, and who should wait for patches.

How long does a playthrough take, and are there achievements?

About two to three hours; see how long to beat. There are 22 Steam achievements; Steam achievements lists the public titles only.
